Britannia's Wake
On the day that Britannia was scuttled, a group of men in the Union Inn decide to hold a wake for her. As they swap stories about the yacht that has touched all their lives, their anecdotes are brought to life by actors or illustrated with photographs.
The tales they share vary in mood from funny to poignant, and they join together to present the history of Britannia’s life from the day she first sailed to the day she sank below the waters of St Catherine’s Deep.
Written, produced, directed and acted by members of Trinity Theatre, Cowes.
Filmed on location in Cowes. Free entry. Donations will go towards our roof fund.

A comedy thriller by Norman Robbins
Some months have passed since the ghastly events in Monument House. Mortimer Crayle a crusty old lawyer and his secretary Zoe, have gathered the last remaining Tomb family members at the old house to inform them about their inheritance. But Crayle has designs on the inheritance which demands the deaths of all the Tomb family. Fog descends on the gloomy mansion and in the cob webby corridors things and people are seldom what they seem. With poison in every decanter and mysterious disappearances into secret passageways, hosts and guests alike join the increasing number of bodies in the cellar.
